Visit Notes

Sunday, 9th February 2003

This is a very, very primitave bullaun stone. The two large bullauns are very roughly carved and may just be enlarged natural features. One is set near ground level, the second one slightly higher up the stone. There is a little channel (definitely manmade) between the two.

Knowing it was in a churchyard I was expecting a much more refined bullaun stone, but this stone definitely predates the church, which is very early, by a considerable amount of time.
