There are a couple of things to note about this round tower beyond the obvious fact that half of it is missing. The doorway is quite an elaborate one for a start. Some of the stone forming the decorated arch is new looking, so I don't know if they are renovating it or if it was just a repair job.

My favourite feature is the presence of the scaffolding holes that are still visible.

There is no change to the stone around the doorway, so I presume a more comprehensive restoration isn't going to happen.
