This site was not marked on the OS maps and to see the three remaining stones was a pleasant surprise. This was a 5-stone stone circle - the entrance stones have gone and the two othe stones lie flat. The axial leans inwards slightly and has a low shelf-like feature on its top edge (it was this that confirmed it as a 5-stone circle).
