This is a truly beautiful little tomb and an extremely unusual one, for it appears to be two tombs in one. Within the small almost cubic gallery is another mini wedge tomb making this a double tomb.
The main gallery is 1.3m in each direction, with the littler version taking up 2/3 of that volume.
A large proportion of the mound still survives and nearly reaches the roof slab. This is a must for anyone visiting the tombs of the Burren.
