This tomb takes some finding. The trek across the Burren limestone pavement is an arduous one and as usual while walking across here I turned my ankle several times.

The tomb is now represented by a 4m long gallery which is aligned north-south; with the entrance via a very narrow court at the north end. This is very reminiscent of Shanballyedmond (County Tipperary). On the west side there are traces of a kerb just 2.5m from the gallery itself and there is a hint of double walling, perhaps representing a link with the wedge tomb builders in the area.

The shallow court is extremely difficult to make out as it is now very overgrown and full of rubble, but the entrance is unmistakable due to it being marked by two 1.1m tall entrance jambs. Beyond these are two more jambs which split the chamber more or less in half - a corbel stone rests against these now and looks at first like a septal slab.

The rear of the gallery is interesting. The backstone leans in slightly and is almost gable shaped. Just inside the gallery, right by the back stone is a peculiar pillar - seemingly another jamb.

10m to the NE is a very low standing stone, the purpose of which it is impossible to say.
