I was doubtful as to whether I would get to this stone as I had read that it is surrounded by field drains and electric fences, and indeed this is the case. It is also in the middle of a very boggy field!

I was fortunate enough to be given a plank by some very nice local people to use as a bridge to cross the drains and so I squelched my way to the stone.

It is around 2m tall and 2.5m wide with a hole at the bottom. This hole is large enough for a grown person to crawl through. I am sure that this was once an entrance stone to a tomb.

Like many holed stones this is said to have healing powers and it is still (infrequently) used as such. By passing through the hole you are said to benefit from its powers. The main use is for sick children.
