This is a beautifully slender, yet short stone, with a low 'shoulder'. It sits in a field just 10m from a farm track and stands proud, despite its diminutive size. It tapers to a point and it it hard to tell if the 'shoulder' is the result of a breakage or was originally there. If so then this is probably why this stone was chosen.

Take the R 390 from Mullingar south west and turn left at Loughanavally. Take the narrow first right until you come to a track by the side of a abandoned church. Follow this track, through the farm yard and the stone is about 200m past the farm.
