Visit Notes

Sunday, 1st December 2002

This stone is in a field hedge visible, but not easily accessible from the farm track that runs past it. We both came away with the impression that it looked like an ogham stone in shape, but it is just a very good looking standing stone.

Directions

From Rasharkin take the B62 north. 800m after passing the junction with the B70 take a right turn. Follow this road to a t-junction and turn left. The stone is along the third track on the right (1.5km from the junction). Walk along the farm track turning left and then right. As you reach a right hand bend in the lane you can see the stone over the hedgerow.
