A very ruined, but obviously once impressive tomb. The one huge, 3.5m long, single wall slab implies that the monument once very much resembled Berneens (County Clare) in design, although this one would have been slightly shorter.
For some odd reason, possibly the fact that a small shepherd's hut has been built adjacent to it, this tomb has a Fogra protection sign, whereas the lovely (almost perfect) one at Tullycommon (County Clare) just 400m away does not.
Once again today I had to take cover from the rain and wind, but this tomb was not going to provide it, so I had to hide, knees against chin, behing one of the walls of the hut.
