This extremely nice tomb is just visible from the more visited tomb at Parknabinnia (County Clare), but it is very difficult to reach, due to the many thorn trees that stand between them. It, however, worth the effort.
It is not in as good a condition as the above mentioned, but it is still pretty good. The single slab at the rear is missing and one of the entrance slabs has been displaced. There is an unusual set of slabs to one side of it that seems to indicate a second gallery having been built onto the side of the main one. The site's major weakness is the fact that it is built into a wall. Quite a large area of cairn remians.
