Visit Notes

Sunday, 28th October 2001

There is not much left of this barrow now, in fact I am amazed that they could identify it as a barrow. All that remains is a 50 cm high henge presumably where its kerb stones lie. Fastened to one side of the henge is a trig point.

From Avoca take the R752 south and take the second right. The barrow is on the very top of the low hill after about 2 km.
