It is quite a hike to get here but worth every step. Situated high above the road, on a huge flat plain set in a natural ampitheatre there is definitely something in the air here.
There are 10 stones of the original 13 standing. One of the fallen stones is an entrance stone, which is sad because the other stands at over 2m tall. The axial stone opposite is just 1.1m tall and the stones graduate in size as you progress around the circle towards the entrance. There is a large boulder burial in the centre, the elongated stone of which seems to be aligned with the axial/entrance.
One lovely feature here is a 1m tall internal monolith, which is unique to this circle.
This delightful, 10m diameter, circle is somewhat threatened by some bushes and trees that have sprouted up on a low, ruined drystone wall nearby.
