Visit Notes

Saturday, 10th August 2002

Aghadoe church has a very nice example of a romanesque door at the west end. This is decorated with zig-zags, chevrons and various other geometrical patterns.

I didn't need my guide book to tell me that it has been reassembled incorrectly - the whole thing is totally unsymetrical. However, the bits that do remain are in good order.
