Perched nicely up on the hill over looking the estuary this circle is unfortunately quite damaged. The stones to the west side still remain pretty much intact, but the east and south are mainly missing or fallen.
The circle had a diameter somewhere in the region of 8m with stones all around the 1.4m mark.
To the east is another monument, marked as a circle, but in reality a cairn kerb I think, but it is hard to say. It could be an odd shaped circle with a cairn in the middle.

From Killala take the R314 north for around 4kms. Here the road turns sharp right, crosses a river and turns sharp left. At this bend carry straight on. Continue along this road for 2kms until you reach a cross roads. Turn right and continue along here until 400m after a sharp left bend. Take the track to the left and drive along until you reach a right hand bend. Park here and you can access the circles via a gate just before the bend.
