An unusual name for a not too unusual stone. The stone is oddly shouldered in a way that looks natural from one side and shaped from the other - perhaps the one side was enhanced.
It is not a small stone, reaching 2m tall and 1.3m wide at the shoulder (half way up), the upper portion being about 1m wide.
As shouldered stones go it does not really compare with the giant at Barnmeen (County Down).
