Arboe high cross is quite an impressive one. It stands 4m+ tall and is in fair condition. It is quite easy to identify many of the scenes depicted, although I would say that the two reference books I have do seem to get one of the panels wrong.
This panel shows two people standing facing each other holding a smaller (infant) upside down between them. This is interpreted (wrongly in the view of AW and myself) as the Slaughter of the Innocents, when it is clearly the Judgement of Solomon.
This aside, as an example of a sculptured cross this is a good example. The ring is broken and the lower panels quite worn, but in general it is not too bad.
