The 2m high (in parts) walls of this cashel are now covered in grass, with tiny areas of the stones peeping through. The wall is missing in several places and so it is impossible to identify an original entrance.
Inside there are traces of building remains and a nice little grove of trees conceals the entrance to the souterrain. The tops of the walls are lined with trees too.
The whole fortress is around 50m in diameter.
