| Mornington - Ladys Finger - South Bull Penninsula - Miscellaneous Site |
Next to The Lady's Finger is a tower, known as the Maidens Tower. Again you might expect a round tower, but this is a square sectioned crenelated tower, like one corner of a castle.
A very odd place indeed, but handy for the dunes and a good seaside walk.

From Drogheda take the R150 east for about 5km until you reach a sharp right hand bend. Instead of going right carry straight on for 300m and you will see the tower.
