As you may have noticed I'm quite partial to a bit of quartz. I especially like quartz monoliths. I REALLY like quartz alignments and this is exactly what we have here.
The stone is a 'dirty' quartz - not solid - but these are still two lovely stones. They are both around 1.3m tall and sit very closely together - very similar to the Boherboy pair in County Dublin. They may be a male/female pairing, but if so then the distinction is a little vague.
The surrounding hills give the location a feeling of theatre taht is most pleasant.
