Visit Notes

Sunday, 9th June 2002

This took some finding. It is actually on the opposite side of the road to the location marked on the OS map and was, when I eventually saw it, hiding behind a seriously amount of plant life.

Just the pillar now stands and I found the head because I stood on it while clearing some of the plants from in front of the cross. It was a very large cross with a solid wheel. One of the cross arms is missing from the fallen head.
