This should really be the Well of Many Names or some such. The well itself is very attractive and much easier to identify than any of the other wells on Tara.
Just below the well is a spring or spout.

The well has undergone a major face lift. Access is now easy via a gate from the road and a nice fence encloses the area. I just hope they don't plant it up and make a 'feature' of it.

The names of this well are:
1) Caprach-Cormaic - Cormac's Well
2) Liagh - The Physician
3) Tipra-bo-finne - Well Of The White Cow
4) Deare-dubhe - The Dark Eye
This could also be the well called - "Poll tocair na tuiliche" which was used for trial by ordeal. The person under inquisition would enter the water and if guilty would emerge with a black spot upon their body; the innocent would come out of the water 'fairer then ever'.
