I have wanted to see these figures since I first heard of them and saw the photos. There are two carved figures here - the smaller one is known as Lusty Man (not because of lustful intentions but because he originally came from Lusty More Island) and the larger figure is a wonderful Janus style one.
This larger figure is almost certainly a pagan image with a female figure one side and a male on the other.
We came here quite late in the day and the light was not too good for photographing these. Anthony recommends closer to 1pm so that both sides are lit from one side.
Also in the grave yard is a small megalith and a broken basin stone.

As we arrived a German couple were just parking up. So we all played stand back politely while everyone takes photos until they left.
I was greatly surprised to see another stone leaning against the Janus figure. This stone seems to be the base of a figure with just big hands wrapping around either side. I don't know what it could have been, but it's unusual.
