I had looked for this before and its cunning camouflage had thwarted me - another site that I'd stood within 50 feet of and not seen it.
This is an impressive barrow in a striking location. It is 5m in diameter and 1.8m tall. The surrounding ditch is still in excellent condition (apart from where a wall breaks into it on the east side) and is 1m deep and 2m wide. There is a slight chance that an external fosse may have existed.
To the east stands The Great Sugar Loaf and to the west Djouce. The barrow also sits exactly half way between the two peaks of Djouce and the Little Sugar Loaf. Another incredible thing is that to the north you can see Howth framed by Carrickgollogan and Two Rocks Mountain.

From Enniskerry follow the R760 and then the R755 south. After about 2km along the R755 you will be passing The Great Sugar Loaf on the right. Just after you pass a road to the right look out for a track on the left. Follow this track around until you reach a track to your right, made of reddish crushed rocks, opposite a new pine plantation. The barrow is on the right hand side of this red track just 50m along.
