Visit Notes

Saturday, 13th April 2002

While waiting for the coffee shop to open so that we could get the keys to Loughcrew cairn T we decided to walk upto to this rath and the nearby standing stones.

The rath is in good condition with the surrounding ditch and bank in place. There is an entrance to the south east.

The whole structure is over 45m in diameter.
