Just to the north of Agnacliff is this untidy and wobbly looking dolmen. It actually looks drunk! At least it is still standing though. The lumpy capstone sits precariously on its shaky legs and does give the feeling that it may topple any minute.

The tomb is aroung 2.4m tall and 2m x 2m in plan. The chamber is quite small because the stones that make the chamber walls are quite chunky.

Anyone who goes to Aghnacliff (County Longford) must come here too. It is only 1km away and is so sweet.

I had much more time to study the construction and it would appear that its lean to the south is how it was built! Amazingly none of the stones seem to have slipped. The portal faces north west.
