The Leitrim survey lists two standing stones near to the wedge tomb (just 20m up the hill in fact) but when you see them they are undoubtedly two 3m tall, 1,5m deep portal stones from a tomb.
A small drystone wall has been built to the east of them extending from the base of one which does not seem to be anything in particular.
The views from here are so good that words fail me when I try to describe them. Another example that the people that built these sepulchres for their dead and for worship really enjoyed seeing the very best that nature has to offer.
