The OS map just has 'standing stones' marked and so I was expecting to see a pair. I was not expecting the wonderful surprise of a four stone alignment.
The stones are aligned NE-SW and rise in height towards the SW end. One of the stones has sadly fallen, but the size of this monument makes up for that.
The stones are tightly packed and grow from 80cm to 1.5m in height.

As I was in the area I decided I'd drive past and see if the field was free. Things looked good at first then a cow appeared. No cows don't often bother me, but this one is definitely the one that those mad-looking cows in South Park are modelled on. I decided not to enter the field.
