Visit Notes

Sunday, 31st March 2002

I wouldn't normally go looking for barrows in the middle of plantations but the little trail around the woods took me to it.

The mound is just 40cm high in the center and the 50cm wide, 20cm deep ditch can be made out around it. The whole site is about 6m in diameter.

To one side there is a tiny stone row, probably modern.
