Visit Notes

Sunday, 31st March 2002

Listed on the OS as 'standing stones' there is just one stone visible now, but it is a whopper! It is very slender and reaches at least 2.3m high.

There is nothing else to say about it as the nearby telegraph poles intrude too much.

Directions

From Waterford take the N25 west and then the R681 south. After about 400m you will come to a left hand bend in the road, turn right here. Pass a road to the left and then take the left hand fork at the next junction. Where the road bends right you will see a track on the left. The stone is about 300m along this track on the left.
