Visit Notes

Sunday, 3rd February 2002

I meant to come to this stone last week, but for some reason skipped it. It is a very rough, short (1.2m) and squat thing. From the road it looks almost cubic, but on closer inspection from the side it is just 30cm thick at the base and tapering slightly towards the top.

Directions

From Castlebellingham head north up the N1 and take the left turn to Dreomsiskin. Continue through the village and turn left at the next crossroads. After about 800m you will see a small bungalow on the right. The stone is in a small enclosure just past this. Access is easiest via their garden so ask there.
