Visit Notes

Sunday, 27th January 2002

This does not appear on the map and I only found it because it is right next to the dolmen. Several kerb stones can be seen poking out of the mud arounf the small henge that denotes the site. No mound remains.

Directions

From Navan take the R162 north and then turn right at the first junction after you pass the R163. At the second crossroads turn right. Go straight over the next crossroads and turn left at the next. After a little over 1km take a left fork and follow the road until it becomes a long private driveway. Continue up to the large house and ask there to see the tomb. They are very obliging. If there is no answer then the barrow is next to the tomb on a small ridge about 300m east of the house.
