Another unscheduled stop. This mound is quite picturesque with a large tree growing out of one side. At some point someone has shored up one side with some dry stone walling.
The surrounding hedgerows make it difficult to approach despite it being just 30m from the road.

From Navan follow the R162 north for about 4.5km and turn right (3rd turn). Continue for about 1.5km and the mound is on the right just before a turn off to the left.
