This is the southern most (and largest) of the hillforts on Tara. Sadly, the banks around this 100m diameter ring are not very well defined and it is hard to imagine what once stood here.

Directions

Follow the N3 from Dublin and turn left at the Village of Tara. Take the first right (past Rath Maeve) and the Hill Of Tara is 3 km on the left.
