Of the three recorded cairns here only two are visible ... and I'm not sure about the other one. This one is detectable only because the knee-high heather and bracken rises 1m above that around it. When you reach the cairn you can see the cairn material poking through the soil below.
The site is in a shallow saddle between a rocky outcrop to the south and a towering cliff to the north. To the west the Knockmealdown Mountains form the horizon, while to the east Seefin Mountain terminates the views. The complexes in Coumeraglinmountain townland are all visible from here.
It is hard to see the extent of the cairn, but it is around 8m in diameter. Forestry activity in the immediate vicinity has disturbed at least one of the cairns here.
