This is one of those stones that is not on the OS map, because it is hidden by a place name - there is no sign of the huge bold lettering on the field.

The location is a fine one - near to the foot of a north facing slope overlooking the flood plane of the River Suir. The stone is 1.5m or so tall and rather craggy. It is in the grounds of a country estate turned farm, so the views are interupted by rows of ornamental trees. The flood plane below is studded with specimen trees. Nothing could be further from the landscape that must have surrounded the site when the stone was first expected.
