If you walk a short way along the road to the west of teh church yard you come to a gate on the righthand side of the road with a kissing gate to one side. If you look across the field you will see a Fogra sign and the top of a piece of rock. You will not see a signpost!
The piece of rock is a massive, earthfast boulder some 2.5m x 2.5m. In the top of this is a group of the largest bullauns I have seen. One of them is nearly 50cm across!
There are six basins in all. The three largest form a line roughly, but not quite, across the middle of the stone. The three others are set to one side. Compared with the large ones one of these is just a baby - one of those shallow bullauns that look unfinished.
Why isn't this site signposted? It's wonderful!
