I didn't actually go right up to this monument, but looked down on it from the nearby wedge tomb - Pookauncorrin (County Kerry). Male bovine exuberance made me decide not to enter the field.

This is a very ruinous tomb and does not compare to the other Doonmanagh example. It too seems to be aligned north-south, but is situated on a flat plateau rather than on a hilltop.
