Like the pair of stones to the north in the same townland the views here are dominated by Croughaun Hill to the northeast and the Monaghvullagh Mountains to the west. The field slopes very gently to the south but the southern (and eastern) views are blocked by trees and hedgerows.
The stone itself is a conglomerate about 1.4m tall. It is shaped like a wedge of cheese, with the point upwards.
