Right above the harbour at Howth this ruined church offers great views of the island of Ireland's Eye and the harbour itself. The first structure stood here in 1042, but the current ruins are some 300 years older.

Directions

Drive into Howth via the R105 from Dublin. You will reach a cross roads where the R106 goes north. Carry straight on until you reach Howth Harbour. If you look up and to the right you will see St Mary's.
