Visit Notes

Monday, 9th April 2007

I had failed to find a second bullaun stone at the nearby church, so I thought it might be next to the well. It isn't. However, this is a wonderful site and worth visiting. The water's really nice, too.

There isn't a visible spring as such, but an estimated 600 gallons of water issues from beneath a broad stoney-bottomed pool every minute. From this pool it cascades over some rocks into a stream.
