I approached the nearby bullaun stone from the east end of the track to the north. This takes you past this church and it's worth stopping off to take a look. It isn't anything special, but there are a few features worthy of note.
Firstly, the location itself. The church is built at the west end of a low rocky outcrop that runs east-west. This ridge is barely wide enough to hold the church. The graveyard is consequently just at the east end of the church and not all around it as you'd normally expect.
To the west of the site, between the church and the bullaun stone, there is a higher rocky outcrop. This is extremely craggy and, if cleared of trees, would dominate the church and bullaun site.
