This is a mighty stone. It stands just off a farmyard now and occupies the top of a low, drumlin-like rise. The farmer seemed a little bit surprised when I asked if I could look at the stone, but he was happy enough to allow me to do so.

This monster is over 2.5m tall, over 1m thick and over 1.5m wide. It's big. Unfortunately, the nearby cow sheds and high trees stop anything being seen from here, which is a shame. I suspect the views would be quite good and I feel certain that there would be some sort of alignment fom here - it's such a significantly sized and sited stone. However, this is very flat land around these parts so the landscape feature could be many miles away.
