I've been to quite a few mass rocks over the years, but have never felt the urge to add them to megalithomania. However, the quality of the cross that is carved onto this one is so good I felt I had to include it.
The rock itself is surprisingly small and probably came from the nearby wedge tomb. The upper surface has a very worn cross carved on it and slopes slightly to the north. The north-eastern vertical face has a Clonmacnoise-style cross carved on it that is still very well defined. If you stand facing this cross you can see Slemish to the southwest between the two peaks of Skeagh Mountain.
