When you have a hilly landscape you can find some great places to erect a monument. This is one of those places. The monument sits atop a small rounded knoll to the south of Craigy Hill, a very rocky prominence.
This wedge tomb is in fairly good condition. There are no roof stones in place, but the rest of the structure is pretty much all there. There is fine double walling and a split portico to the front. To the right of this there is a single facade stone. Behind the stone that splits the entrance there is a septal slab that blocks just one side of the entrance.
The rear end of the tomb has been badly damaged, but you can see that the gallery was about 5m long. The gallery is ailgned roughly WSW towards Slemish.
