This site overlooks a court tomb, which is built on the slopes to the southwest (see Ballyvoy (County Antrim)). To the north you look out over Rathlin Island and you can see Scotland in the distance.

Three low stones in the centre of the well-preserved kerb are all that remains of the central chamber. None of these stands more than 20cm above the grass. The kerb is almost complete, with only a few gaps. The tallest stones are 40cm or so high. The whole monument is approximately 18m in diameter.

As well as the views to towards Scotland and Rathlin Island there are good views to the south where Knocklayd Mountain stands proud.
