Visit Notes

Sunday, 16th July 2006

I'm breaking one of my rules here and adding a site I didn't actually find ... but I did get very close! While asking for directions a local man told me that as a kid he used to play in the woods around the tomb, but since then trees have fallen, light has got in and the floor of the woods is now thick with head-high bracken and brambles. If you come looking for this one bring a machette!

It is supposed to be a good example. All the stones are present, but the capstone has slipped from the top and pushed in one of the portal stones. I'll probably come beck myself one day, fully armed, and find it.
