As I was leaving the field that contains the portal tomb ( Murnells (County Tyrone)) I noticed a round mound. Looking on the top I could see some large stones so I took some photos thinking it may be a cairn. After doing a search of various databases it is a cairn!
It is roughly 1.5m high and 6m in diameter. The large stones poking through the top could be the remains of burial cists.
