What a pleasant surprise! When you go to see a barrow you usually get one of two things - a nice mound or a flat field where the barrow has been loughed away. Here it's neither of those: this appears to be a rare bowl barrow.

Just inside the field gate a very low round bank encircles a deep depression in the field that is 30m in diameter - this dip is the barrow.
