Visit Notes

Sunday, 3rd July 2005

The head of the high cross is now stored inside St Caimin's. What stands next to the round tower is a small section of the shaft, which bears some very eroded knot decoration. Judging by some old photos I would say that it would have been a good move to store this indoors along with the head, as it has deteriorated badly in recent years.
