This is the only church on the island that has a roof. This is a modern reconstruction, which only covers the nave. The chancel, which was added to the church during a later phase of construction, is not covered. Along the tops of the chancel walls there are some mouldings similar to those on the Church of the Wounded Men.
The west door is a very nice Romanesque arch with an order of lozenges and one of heads. Despite being quite large the main structure is an early one, which can be deduced from the presence of ante at the west end.
Inside the church there are numerous grave slabs lined up along the walls along with a fine looking crosshead. Unfortunately the gate to this building was locked, so I couldn’t get a good look at what is stored in there.
